Jax is on vacation! So today’s post and next Tuesday’s post will be short and sweet. Well…they will be short. =)
Today, I want to encourage you to watch the re-launch of the education program “Cosmos.†The original series, called “Cosmos: A Personal Voyage,†launched in 1980 and starred Carl Sagan, the acclaimed and widely known astronomer, astrophysicist, and cosmologist — who also co-wrote the episodes. Dr. Sagan inspired many a youngsters, myself included, and some went on to become astronomers and astrophysicists. Among these inspired minds is Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who is now the narrator for the new Cosmos series, called “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey.†Full disclosure, I have a serious schoolgirl crush on Dr. Tyson. With his sleepy eyes, and kind voice, and no-nonsense demeanor – he is just dreamy. And now I get to see him every week! At least for a while.
The show re-launched on March 9th. I’ve watched three episodes so far and I’m hooked. I wouldn’t call myself a Cosmo-phile just yet, though. I think there are some editorial and flow issues that need addressing. Then again, how do you cover the cosmos smoothly in one hour? There is so much you could say about even the tiniest part of our galaxy! The graphics are impressive for television and IMO the production value is high. The crew on this show is impressive, too.
Among the executive producers are Seth MacFarlane [of Family Guy fame], whose clout and financial investment was instrumental in bringing the show to broadcast television, and Ann Druyan, Sagan’s widow and a co-creator of the original series. The show is produced by Brannon Braga [Executive Producer on the 3/4 Star Trek re-launches]…†— Wikipedia
I highly recommend you give the show a try if you haven’t already. You can check out clips from the show here. I’ve been watching it On Demand on Fox. Have you been watching? What do you think?

OMGs! I tear up, too! It makes me feel simultaneously part of something eternal and absolutely insignificant. And there is something deeply moving about about that.

For 1, this would not be the first or the last game made that requires additional accessories.
Kinect with Xbox, PS Eyetoy, ect, ect, ect. Mario Party,
actually and I didn’t know this right now, until my laziness to find
my Mario Party Case. Has a version that includes 2 Joycons, odd combo right?
Further, and this is something I have never noticed.
This straight up tells you from the jump, non detachable joycon will not work.
And its on all the games, so bases have been covered since the Start.
A Mini was likely always the plan. Easy, check
out the new Hori Official joycons, that DO not offer wireless, and are much cheaper.
A mini isnt really needed, as much as a Joyconless, Dockless Switch,
let us choose what we want and what we dont and drop the price to 150
tablet only. I would love the latter, over a Mini.
I need another switch for Pokemon, and we already have 2 Docks, we
already have 8 Joycons (I have my own set, wife too, and the kids have their own sets each) and 2 Pro controllers.
We dont need, another Dock, Another Set of Joycons, ect, just another
Tablet.
